Tivoli wedding:

An Italy elopement fairy tale

A country brimming with old-world charm, it’s no surprise that an Italy elopement is on the minds of couples looking for a low-key, no pressure wedding. Here in Tivoli, family traditions are still heavily valued, as well as an appreciation for living life at a slower pace.

And for Kelsea and Ryan, they wanted the focus of their Tivoli wedding day to be on each other and the fairy tale romance they’ve spent years developing.

A family-only wedding

Our carefree couple joined us in Tivoli from America to marry in a small, intimate ceremony outside of Rome. Given that Rome is one of the world’s most ancient cities, being in such close proximity to a place that has stood the test of time is a direct testament of their love for each other.

Only their closest family was invited to share in their special day, making it a true Italy elopement that allows the couple to wholly focus on each other.

Kelsea stunned in a breezy, intricately detailed white gown with accents throughout the sleeves and bodice. The backless design highlighted her simple, delicate gold jewellery that was befitting for such a vintage atmosphere.

And being outdoors with simple, natural backdrops and decor, all eyes were on Kelsea as she approached the love of her life.

The ceremony was conducted by the groom’s sister, another nod to a family tradition that defines Italian weddings. They read their vows in the presence of their dearest loved ones, transforming a blessed occasion into an emotional yet joyous day.

Elegance is in the details

From the moment we captured their engagement euphoria on camera, it was hard not to feel swept away by the raw emotion the couple shared. Those feelings carried over into the ceremony, dinner, and photos in scenic streets of Tivoli, where we enjoyed telling the next chapter of a love that has been blossoming for years and will continue to grow so long as Ryan and Kelsea nurture it.

Wedding planners Anna and Giorgia left no detail unturned, from the bridal suite to the eye-watering first look. They partnered with Ophicina Botanica for fresh flowers that added subtle yet powerful colour and texture to the occasion, particularly in the photos.

There was no such thing as a bad view at this intimate ceremony. Family members were gathered close to the altar, with sweeping views of gorgeous greenery and rolling hills as far as the eye could see. It was a calm, beautiful setting that never stole focus from the ceremony, but rather contributed to the bliss and serenity that defines Kelsea and Ryan’s commitment to each other.

A happy ending for an even happier beginning

Every wedding we photograph is as special and unique as the couple in the images. Our goal isn’t just to produce a share-worthy album, but also to tell their story in the way that best reflects their journey, their desires, and their everlasting love for each other.

Of course, their story doesn’t end once we put away the camera. Though one chapter closes when the couple-to-be say I Do, another one begins as they venture through a new life as husband and wife.
